What I Can Do Cloth

On today's internet news, it mentioned about the A4 size cloths made by Kobe city (former damaged area by the Great Hanshin earthquake back in 1995) and also Hakuhodo, one of the major advertising companies in Japan). These cloths will be used by volunteers at the site of 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami.

The cloths are colored by what the volunteers are good at. Such as RED for medical treatment and nursing, BLUE for language such as sign language, foreign language etc. YELLOW is used for special skills such as carpentry, hair cutting. GREEN for daily help such as physical labor etc.

It recalled me something that I saw at ER or some TV drama that devide people (in that case injured) by different colored tag to make it easier to see the level of damage.

I am sure the cloth will make it easier for the people to know who should ask for the help they need.

My friend in Tokyo sent me email that there are still aftershocks going on (that friend of mine is SUPER stable lady so she seems to back in normal in that circumstances. She said she is having Shabu Shabu party at home this weekend which is great).

Assume there are years to take for the people at site to get back to normal though, I hope for the best.
